Transforming Campus Spaces: San Joaquin Delta College’s Campus Modernization Projects

Enhancing Child Development Spaces with Lakeshore Learning
San Joaquin Delta College recently partnered with Lakeshore Learning to upgrade its child development facilities, enhancing spaces that serve children ages 2–5. Completed between November and December 2024, this project included the installation of essential indoor and outdoor furniture tailored to early childhood programs. A key highlight of the Lakeshore Learning contract was the lifetime warranty on key indoor pieces—such as desks, chairs, and storage units—ensuring both durability and long-term value. Lakeshore also delivered and installed all items quickly, on time, and within budget, making for a seamless and efficient project from start to finish.
Revamping Wayfinding with KYA
In another initiative, San Joaquin Delta College partnered with KYA to modernize its campus wayfinding signage. This project focused on upgrading two marquees and three wayfinding signs to improve both navigation and the overall visual appeal of the campus. Spanning from September to July 2024, with construction beginning in June, the project was successfully completed on time and within budget—demonstrating careful planning and efficient execution.
Refreshing Conference Rooms with KI
San Joaquin Delta College undertook a comprehensive refresh of its administrative office and conference room furniture through a partnership with KI. Aimed at improving functionality and enhancing the overall workspace environment, the project involved replacing outdated furnishings with modern, flexible solutions. The college benefited from a quick turnaround and access to a diverse range of adaptable products. KI representatives provided valuable services, including conducting a space walk and needs assessment with campus staff, streamlining the product selection process. From the initial designs and estimates to placing the order in June 2024 and the successful installation in October 2024, the KI contract played a pivotal role in efficiently upgrading the college’s administrative spaces.
