Advisory Workgroups

The CollegeBuys Advisory Workgroups are specialized working groups focused on various key areas within the system. Each group is spearheaded by one or two Advisory Group members. Membership is drawn from the system’s procurement community, as well as collaborating partners from facilities and technology departments.

Best Practices

The Best Practices Workgroup aims to review terms and conditions and share best practices for contractual terms on indemnity, insurance limits, cost escalations, etc. They also oversee iterative processes and ad hoc workgroups for systemwide guidebooks.

Community Outreach & Engagement

The Community Engagement and Outreach Workgroup welcomes and engages new colleagues into the CCC purchasing community with a focus on increasing engagement and participation. They also support awareness and attendance for systemwide conferences, statewide procurement meetings, webinars, etc.

Digital Transformation & Technology

The Digital Transformation & Technology Workgroup’s objective is to provide a collective voice in identifying priority systemwide agreements (goods and services) with a focus on academic and instructional technology, technology hardware, and operational technology. They also advise on ways to expand and improve STAC/STARTE as well as other bulk purchasing programs and provide guidance on technology product standards.
