New Shuttle Service Contracts Enhance Transportation for California Community Colleges
Foundation for California Community Colleges (FoundationCCC) successfully completed a major initiative to enhance transportation services across the California Community Colleges (CCC) system. Through the recently concluded RFP 23-003, FoundationCCC has secured On-Call and Scheduled Shuttle Services agreements tailored to meet the diverse needs of CCC campuses statewide.
The comprehensive RFP evaluation process involved a committee of procurement and facility experts from various CCC districts. The committee reviewed and evaluated vendor proposals based on key criteria to ensure each vendor’s ability to provide shuttle services safely and in compliance with industry regulations, ultimately selecting multiple partners based on regional transportation needs across California.
The following vendors have been awarded contracts to provide regional shuttle services across the CCC system: Avalon Transportation (#0000-9195), Blessed Through Favors, dba Epic Limousine (#0000-9196), Busloop (#0000-9197), Code 3 Transportation (#0000-9198), Mosaic Global Transportation (#0000-9199), Royal Coach Tours (#0000-9201), and Transportation Charter Services (#0000-9202).
By leveraging the awarded shuttle bus agreements, districts can achieve cost and time savings through standardized pricing and terms, while promoting consistency and reliability throughout the system. Additionally, all awarded vendors are mandated to maintain $10 million in auto insurance, prioritizing safety and risk management with comprehensive coverage in the event of any incidents.
This latest achievement in securing shuttle services represents another step forward in FoundationCCC’s mission to support the educational and operational needs of California Community Colleges, ensuring that students and staff have access to reliable, safe, and efficient transportation options.
