Harmonize Learning Webinar: Authentic Work, Real Interaction – Designing Anti-Bot, Pro-RSI Courses
Join Los Angeles Community College District and Harmonize Learning for a one-hour practical session on the intersection of Regular & Substantive Interaction (RSI) and anti-bot course design. We’ll show how shifting from text-only tasks to multimedia activities, short video/audio reflections, screen-recorded demos, image annotations, and rubric-guided peer review, both hardens courses against AI-bot enrollment/participation and sparks richer instructor to student exchanges.
During the webinar, speakers will compare the time tradeoffs of grading-heavy workflows vs. reallocating that time to higher-value engagement that gets you back to the core of teaching. The session will also cover how to embed these strategies into your online faculty training/prof-dev so instructors can adopt them quickly and confidently. Perfect for deans, instructional designers, and online faculty and distance education leaders.
