Three years after launching the FCCC/Amazon Business cooperative contract, we will look back at some of the strategies, successes, and learnings from procurement leaders across California community college districts in utilizing this agreement.

Join us for this 1-hour webinar to learn from your peers about Amazon Business launches, case studies regarding technical integrations like Single Sign On and e-procurement systems, and advice on utilizing the platform to reflect district-endorsed buying policies and find cost savings.

San Antonio College, Brett Osthimer, Purchasing Coordinator/Analyst at Kern Community College District, and Kim Simonds, Purchasing Supervisor at MiraCosta College. Angelic Davis, Director of Purchasing, Printing and Mail Services at Mt. San Antonio College, has over 20 years of experience in procurement, 16 years of which have been spent in public procurement. Angelic has gained valuable experience and knowledge working for diverse agencies in various roles in public procurement, including the City of San Bernardino Municipal Water Department, the City of Moreno Valley, and most recently at Mt. San Antonio College, the largest single campus community college district in California. In addition to her vast experience, Angelic holds a Master’s of Public Administration, is a Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO), and has also obtained NIGP-Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP) certification.

Brett Osthimer

Purchasing Coordinator/Analyst, Kern Community College District


Brett Osthimer, Purchasing Coordinator/Analyst at Kern Community College District, has 9 years of combined working K-12 and higher education, with 3 years of experience working in procurement. Brett has gained valuable experience in procurement and business services working within different roles including the Arvin Union School District, the Bakersfield City School District, and most recently with Kern Community College District. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Kim Simonds

Purchasing Supervisor, MiraCosta College


Kim Simonds is the Purchasing Supervisor at MiraCosta College. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University and a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach. Kim has over 20 years of procurement experience in the California Community College System. In the 14 years she has been with MiraCosta College, she has specialized in Public Works/Construction including related professional services and Contract Administration.

Rosie Blair is a Senior Customer Advisor with Amazon Business, supporting education-specific customers as the procurement field grows. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and an MBA focused in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Rosie’s passion for driving education forward has guided her career throughout higher-ed administration and development. She is proud to support all Amazon Business customers within the Foundation for Community Colleges in California.
