The Foundation for California Community Colleges has partnered with the California Association of Public Procurement Officials (CAPPO) to launch a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) webinar series this year. The inaugural session in this series, which is scheduled to take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, will provide insights on what Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is, why it is important, and how it is applicable to education. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to discuss how you can incorporate DEI into operations – i.e., the purchase of goods and services, as well as tips on starting a DEI program.
We have invited our California Community Colleges purchasing colleagues to attend the first session as well as all future webinars in this series to learn more and network with your purchasing peers.
